For the Zimmer Cabin, up in Ely, MN, we used a mixture of 3 different Montana thin veneer ledgestones including Chief Cliff, CoCo Mountain, and Gold Creek. On the exterior, we used Arkansas sandstone for the capping stones and pillar caps. The hearth on the fireplace was a black granite from Minnesota. The stone was laid in a dry stack style with ~ ¼” mortar joints.
