We built this Tulikivi TU2200T/51 soapstone fireplace in the Fall of 2017 just north of Duluth MN. We angled the heater to face into the living area for beautiful fire viewing during our cold winters. The heater is located in the center of the home so that it can radiate the heat evenly into the area.
Top chamber of the J-loop style top vented heater. The heater is channeled so that the heated gases go up thru the firebox and secondary combustion chamber, down the right side of the stove, under the back side of the firebox and then up the left side of the heater into a top chamber and up the chimney.
Chimney damper support in place.
Finished heater. Homeowner will be installing ceramic tile on all of the concrete floors.
