What clients say about SR Core kits and workshops
I took two separate workshops from Eric Moshier at the North House Folk School in Grand Marais, MN, on building a masonry heater. I then felt that I was able to build a masonry heater myself. I ordered all the materials for the inner core along with the doors for the firebox and black oven, and the portions of the steel chimney that were needed. A detailed construction guide was included with the shipment. Eric was always very helpful whenever I had questions while I was constructing our heater. The Finnish Contraflow heater that my wife and I chose to build works beautifully and it is the primary heat source for our 900 square foot living space. We plan to build a second masonry heater when we finish our house, and we will use Solid Rock Masonry again as the source of plans and material.
