Custom SR-13H see-through bell masonry heater finished in local Gunflint taconite and natural slate. Designed and built by Solid Rock Masonry LLC, certified heater masons serving Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upper Penninsula of Michigan along with all of the Midwest.
Winner of the 2025 Masonry Heater Association Masonry Heater Contest. SR-13H masonry heater core kit combined with an SR-24x40 masonry cook stove, finished in cut limestone with a wood-fired bake oven arch above the cook stove firebox. Both the heater and cook stove are shown during active firing. Heater designed by Eric Moshier of Solid Rock Masonry Heat, Duluth MN. Built by Dave Zeltwanger, MHA certified mason, Tennessee, using Solid Rock Masonry Heat SR-13H and SR-24x40 kit systems. This installation demonstrates the combination heating and cooking capability of the SR masonry heater and cook stove system - a single wood fire handles home heating, cooking, and baking simultaneously.
