The stone for this project was hand picked by the Luhrsens at various locations along Lake Superior. We designed a Rosin Style 36″x36″ PriorFire Firebox into this fireplace because this is one of the most efficient open hearth fireboxes that you can build. We had a lot of fun working on this project just north of Duluth. We built in a couple of stone niche’s into the fireplace with a style resembling the stonework at Naniboujou The homeowners were awesome.
